@wc: lol, finding all this info soothes my own craving for the next MGS. can't wait till i can say "MGS4 releases tomorrow"

more info on the Saga 2.0 disc, some people who pre-ordered have started to recieve the dvd (not sure yet if it's bluray or dvd).

The dvd covers the series and the main characters of the story, it also includes all of the trailers that had been previously released.

The dvd goes as follows:

Chapter 001 - Prologue
Chapter 002 - Metal Gear 20th Anniversary
Chapter 003 - Big Boss - The origin of Snake
Chapter 004 - Liquid - The Second Snake
Chapter 005 - Solidus - The Third Snake
Chapter 006 - Solid - The First Snake

sounds good, but doesn't answer my own q's about it..
Also, kp report out today, ill have a listen to it later on, but i hear there's a fair amount on MGS4 and MGO. I'll post details when i hear it.

if you look at the peices falling from snake they're like weapons, and people etc, oh and a few metal gears too, lol.
In the middle is screaming mantis, just to the right a bit of that is Rex, and to the right again is Ray.. maybe i look a bit too close..

oh, well Rex and Ray are the metal gears code-names from mgs1 and mgs2, respectively.
and Screaming mantis is from mgs4, one of the beauty/beast team

, sorry about that.. if you don't like that one, don't watch the b&b trailer.. its got all four of them killing random militants.. and they're kinda creepy too.. but im curious to see just what/who they are.. (mgs4 'bosses')

the voices for each are kinda weird too.. all of the b&b are done by a guy, (who gives an echo sound to their speech) and then each one of b&b have a supermodel who voices over the top, giving them a pretty cool voice each.. fascinating what Hideo and his team come up with

I must agree that the B&B unit are a bit weird for MGS4 bosses, but I'm sure they will play an important role in the story and provide some memorable battles

After listening to the KP report (pretty short this week @ 30mins), there wasn't alot of info really.. they talked about Sankes mostache (lol) too much..

, but they did comment on a question i had a while ago, Is MGO and MGS4 on the same disc?
Well, yes they are on the same disc. The first GAME to be put on the 50gb bluray.. no wonder, its really 1.5 games.. First game to full dual layer bluray.. suprised they didn't need the 75 or 100gb disc that has been constructed..
Then Ryan (the host of the KP report, also works with/for Konami) said that when you start the game, it will be in the menu where you choose either MGS4 or MGO. Though he did comment that there may be some future update where you will be able to load MGO or MGS4 straight from the XMB.

Anyway, aside from that, the Saga 2 dvd that was available for preorder has begun to arrive in peoples letterboxes/gamestops, along with their MGO beta codes

very much so.
i noticed, while watching the ending of the Saga 2, that 9/11 terrorist attacks are in the mgs timeline, despite them being after mgs2's game launch, and before the events of the big shell (2009=big shell) .. also are the un's invasions of iraq shortly after.. perhaps Konami are gonna incorporate this into the game..? does intrigue me alot..
