AT the moment I'm playing Snake Eater on Extreme difficulty. I'm only up to the first battle with Volgin and I've alredy been playing for over 30 hours, though when I played on easy I completed the game in 12 hours.

ahhh, fair enough. I'm not that great either, I usually play custom games, which don't require as much RTS skill. you should try it!

but be warned, the first time you log on to Battlenet, you have to download a pretty big patch...takes 20-40 mins on my computer.

Metalgearsolid.org has closed down by the way! That's sad, I hope they get back up and running relatively soon.
